Amazon to build out capacity for cloud, fulfillment and third party services

    Due to a recent growth in its online services Amazon has found the need to expand its online infrastructure. The reason for this says CFO Tom Szkutak is an expansion that occurred just before the global recession hit.

    Amazon will increase its infrastructure spending to keep expanding its cloud and third party selling. The increase in spending was met with a bit of apprehension on Wall Street but the need for more space is a good problem for Amazon to have.
