    The Federal Communications Comission is currently undergoing a huge step involving a nationwide wireless broadband network which will help goverment officials to mantain security and respond more quicky to emergencies. However, public safety officials feel that the current spectrum holdings are insufficient and fear that they may have to depend on commercial networks during emergencies.
