This bulletin describes a variety of issues concerning press freedoms in China and includes articles concerning China’s ban on reporting regarding its recent conflicts with Google, protests by democracy activists in Hong Kong and the milk contamination scandal. There are also articles regarding journalist reports of hacked personal emails and increased government monitoring of SMS messaging.
