Following this weekend's release of Nintendo's Wii U console, the eighth generation of video game consoles is finally here. With the Wii U selling out across the US, and games retailers seeing record numbers of pre-orders, early reports are generally good, with a handful of negative caveats that mostly involve the Wii U's tablet Gamepad.
